The Blue Valley Special Education Advisory Council (BVSEAC) consists of a parent representative(s) from each of the Blue Valley district's schools, special education staff, Board of Education members, building administration and District Office special education leadership. BVSEAC includes approximately 50 people and is responsible for communication and advocacy.
BVSEAC's initiatives include Parent Support, Resource Fair, and Ability Showcase.
Parent Support
This committee provides parent-to-parent support groups. Future events to be determined.
Resource Fair
Families can visit with vendors representing various resources throughout the Kansas City metro area.
Ability Showcase
A variety show of music, art, and theatre. Future events to be determined.
